Owned by Ballers from New York to Vegas (Including One Major-League Pitcher)

What’s not to love about bowling? All your friends can participate, you can knock stuff down and enjoy good music and a beer or cocktail. Plus, you can say you exercised. Sort of.

These multimillion-dollar homeowners must agree, because they’ve spared no expense in creating home bowling spaces that reflect their unique styles and provide all sorts of opportunities to “just go bowling” any time of day or night.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_animation image_url=”2520″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][vc_column_text]Photo: Courtesy of RUHM[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

1. Bright Lights, Big Party

Where else but Las Vegas would you expect to find these entertainment-focused, light-laden lanes? Renowned lighting designer David Singer put his special touch on just about everything in this 13,255 square-foot home, including the bamboo light feature shown here.

This bowling alley is located on a floor devoted entirely to recreational pursuits. It sits just down the hall from a custom 2,000-bottle wine cellar, spa, gym and home theater that can open up to a fully equipped bar or close with soundproof curtains.

2. Orange you glad you brought your bowling shoes?

This swank, lounge-y spot is all ‘60s mod. We imagine bowling here would feel a little like scoring a strike aboard the Starship Enterprise (when Captain Kirk had command). It’s actually located within the Bridgehampton “Sandcastle,” a $43.5 Million home owned by Hamptons developer Joe Farrell. Beyonce and Jay-Z rented the home for a summer back in 2012. At press time, we could not confirm Queen Bey’s bowling score.

3. May the pins be ever in your favor.

If you lived in this 30,000 square-foot home in Lubbock, TX, you could watch Katniss save herself and District Twelve from certain destruction on an 11-foot-wide movie screen, track the weather and stream Sports Center, all while knockin’ ‘em down like a boss.

4. Three Strikes, You’re In

The owner of this St. Augustine, FL bowling alley is also a Major League pitcher, so it’s safe to presume he has a thing for strikes. He must also love baseball memorabilia (no surprise there) because it’s on full display in this ultra-fun space.
